Lot # 78 - Art Piece Abstract by Colorado Artist Orlin Helgoe 1974 Signed Art PRINT? Framed 30" x 25".  A beautiful framed piece, the signature is by hand, the piece looks like a print but may be original.  We could not find the same piece on the internet.  Frame may show dings from storage.  Orlin Helgoe 1930-1982  (The white mark on the top right matting is just a light reflection)

Orlin Milton Helgoe's paintings and drawings stand the test of time: They are as mysterious and thought-provoking as they were the last time they were gathered for a major local show.

And probably as captivating as the day he painted or drew them in the 1960s and 1970s, when he taught art at Pueblo Junior College/Southern Colorado State College, roamed his beloved prairie, spiraled in and out of periods of intense creativity and productivity.
