Description:

This is a Werner Saf-T-Master Model D1124-2 aluminum two-section extension ladder, manufactured by Werner Ladder Co. of Greenville, Pennsylvania, with a copyright date of 1993/1995, making this a USA-made ladder from the mid-1990s. The ladder is rated Type III Household with a 200 lb duty rating, features a total extended length of 24 feet across both sections, a maximum working length of 21 feet, and a highest standing level of 16 feet 11 inches — ideal for single-story roofline access, gutter cleaning, exterior painting, and general home maintenance tasks common to Colorado's two-story homes and ranch properties. Construction is all-aluminum with extruded D-rung rungs, formed aluminum side rails with the distinctive Werner channel profile, spring-loaded rung locks for secure extension positioning, and the original orange/red braided rope and pulley system for raising the fly section. The Werner brand label (P/N 50017-01) is clearly visible and intact on the rail, and the original specification label (P/N 49390-19) remains legible and firmly adhered, confirming authenticity and model identification. Werner is one of the most trusted and widely recognized ladder manufacturers in North America, and their aluminum extension ladders from this era are known for durability and long service life. Condition is rated Good to Very Good; the ladder shows normal use wear including light surface oxidation and scuffing to the aluminum rails consistent with age and outdoor use, the rope shows some fraying and weathering but remains functional, and the rung locks appear intact and operational — no visible bends, cracks, or structural damage to the rails or rungs are noted from inspection. Buyers should inspect in person and verify all safety components before use, as ladder safety is paramount.
