Description:
This substantial teak wood outdoor dining set consists of a large octagonal dining table paired with six matching slatted armchairs, all featuring the classic silvered-gray weathered patina characteristic of aged teak that has been left to mature naturally outdoors. The octagonal table top is constructed with precision-cut teak planks arranged in a radiating pattern from a central umbrella pole hole, supported by a sturdy teak base — a hallmark of premium outdoor furniture construction typical of high-end brands such as Smith & Hawken, Barlow Tyrie, or similar quality teak manufacturers popular in the 1990s–2000s. Each armchair features a traditional slatted back and seat design with wide flat armrests and mortise-and-tenon joinery construction, the gold standard for durable outdoor teak furniture built to withstand Colorado's variable mountain climate. The chairs are fitted with teal/green scrollwork-patterned outdoor seat cushions in a baroque damask-style print with gold and white accents, in good usable condition with some expected sun fading. Teak is prized for its natural oils, high silica content, and exceptional weather resistance, making this set ideal for Colorado Front Range decks, mountain homes, and outdoor entertaining spaces. Condition is rated Good to Very Good overall — the teak has developed an even silver-gray patina consistent with years of outdoor use, with surface checking (minor grain separation) visible on the table top planks and chair components, which is entirely normal and expected for weathered teak; the set shows no major structural damage, broken joints, or missing parts visible in photos. The set could be restored to a warm honey-brown color with teak oil or cleaner, or left as-is for the popular weathered aesthetic. Umbrella is not included in this lot — table only with chairs and cushions.
