This is an antique oak vanity dressing table featuring a dramatic tall arched mirror back with an ornate pierced and carved scrollwork crest displaying foliate and scroll motifs, flanked by two three-drawer pedestals with original brass bail and knob hardware and carved floral appliqués on the lower drawer fronts. The vanity has a warm honey-golden oak finish with visible tiger oak grain on the mirror panel and crest, and the set includes a matching armchair with a carved splat back and a red floral damask upholstered seat cushion. Condition shows age-appropriate wear including surface scratches, fading and discoloration to the mirror backing panel, minor veneer lifting visible on the mirror surround, and general patina consistent with antique use. The mirror glass appears to have been removed or is absent, leaving the bare wood panel in its place. The carved crest detail is crisp and well-defined, indicating quality craftsmanship consistent with late Victorian or early 20th century American furniture production.
