This two-piece Art Deco bedroom set consists of a tall four-drawer highboy chest and a matching single-door nightstand cabinet, both finished in warm honey-toned walnut veneer with striking chevron-patterned inlay panels on the drawer and door fronts. Both pieces feature carved acanthus-leaf and rope-twist molding along the cornice, base, and bracket feet, with a contrasting zebrawood or tiger-stripe veneer banding across the top surfaces, and original gold-tone and dark metal crescent-shaped drawer pulls plus a carved fleur-de-lis style appliqué accent on the second drawer of the chest and the door of the nightstand. Condition appears very good overall with rich, warm finish and no visible major damage, chips, or losses observed in the photos; minor age-appropriate wear may be present on contact surfaces. The set is sold together as two pieces — the highboy chest with four full-width drawers and the nightstand with a single hinged door cabinet. No maker's mark is visible in the photos, but the style and construction are consistent with American Art Deco bedroom furniture of approximately the late 1930s to 1940s.
