Lot # 822 - Large 19th Century Box w/ Drawer Full of 1800s Photographs of Various Unknown People. Seventeen photos. This large heavy Victorian box looks like a book, but instead had a drawer. The drawer is filled with photographs in little individual hard cases showing people in the first days of photography, mid 1800s? Some are printed on glass and mirrors. A fascinating piece of history. Includes Photo of three Civil War Soldiers! We do not know where this was from and who the people are. Many are damaged from old age. Many in great shape! Large box measures 16" x 14" x 4" deep
