Lot # 525- Unique Birch Bark Basket w/ Porcupine Quill Floral Embroidery

Rare design, with six petals lotus shape expertly stitched together to make this beautiful basket. Porcupine quills are used to embroider the floral pattern on each petal. One flower is missing a few quills.  From the Ottowa, of the Great Lakes area.
