This is an antique single-door china display cabinet in dark mahogany, featuring Chippendale-style carved ball-and-claw feet and bowed side columns. The frieze across the top displays deeply carved acanthus leaf and floral basket scrollwork, and the single glazed door includes a beveled glass upper panel above a solid wood lower panel with rope-twist molding detail along the door frame. The interior shows four wooden display shelves visible through the glass. Condition shows age-appropriate wear including surface scratches on the interior shelves, minor finish dulling, and general patina consistent with early 20th century use; the glass appears intact and the brass keyhole escutcheon is present. This style of carved mahogany china cabinet with ball-and-claw feet was popular in the Edwardian and early American Colonial Revival periods circa 1900-1920.
