Description:

This is a Makita Electric Works Ltd. 8-1/4" miter saw, model M242, manufactured in Japan, rated at 115V, 7.3A, 5000 RPM with UL listing. The saw features a red motor housing, cast aluminum base with degree scale, clear blade guard, and a carbide-tipped blade still installed. Condition shows use-related scratches on the table surface and some duct tape applied to the dust collection port area, but all safety labels are intact and the unit appears structurally complete. The power cord and plug are present and intact. This older Makita model predates the company's current lineup and represents a collectible vintage Japanese-made professional tool.
