Rare 1967 S.S. Kresge Company promotional print featuring cartoon parakeets Scarlett and Pierre from the employee benefits film 'The People Watchers,' copyright marked MCMLXVII and bearing all three Kresge retail brand logos: Kmart, Kresge's, and Jupiter. The illustrated print displays warm orange and brown tones with charming mid-century cartoon artwork of two birds perched in a decorative cage, one holding binoculars and the other a scroll. The print is housed in a wood-tone frame with glass, approximately 11x13 inches overall; glass shows some glare reflections in photos but no visible cracks, and the print itself appears clean with vivid color retention. This is an exceptionally scarce piece of Kmart/Kresge corporate ephemera and retail advertising history from the chain's early expansion era.
