Historic rifle bayonet sword featuring a long steel blade, wood grip with brass fittings, and curved steel quillon guard with a muzzle ring for rifle attachment. This piece includes a black steel scabbard and displays patina consistent with age and service.
The socket attachment and blade length suggest a 19th-century design, possibly from European or colonial military issue. These hybrid bayonet-swords were used both as close-combat sidearms and rifle-mounted bayonets, serving dual purposes in infantry combat.
