Lot # 53 - 1800s Flat Top Steamer Trunk by Chas T. Wilt Chicago ~ Full Size Truck with all original Inserts. This belonged to D. Harry Hammer circuit Judge in Chicago in the late 1800s. His name was written in big letters and is faded but still visible. This is a full size wood steamer trunk 44"W 22" W 22"D. There are removable divider trays for layers of storage. Iron hardware with #4 locks. Leather trim and 4 wheels on the bottom. Very good condition for being so old. Wear seen on the top drawer level, the lids are warped from age. The hinge can be turned inward to hold the lid open for you, and pulled outward to allow the lid to close. No key found. Has some faded stickers and customs tags still stuck on it.
