Description:

Lot # 167 - Respected Doll Maker Lorene Drywater was Named "Cherokee National Treasure" and was well known as a craftswoman, specifically for her making buffalo grass dolls. This doll wears a cotton calico "tear" dress with detailed trim and petticoats and is signed by Lorene! The dress shows some fading from age but is otherwise in excellent condition.

Also in this lot is a Traditional Navajo Folk Art Doll with blue velvet dress, a floral calico petticoat and beaded jewelry and accents.
