Description:

Lot # 66 - Antique Charcoal Portrait of John J. Clark, Founder and Homesteader of the Humphrey Property.  With the exception of this having no glass, it is a beautifully preserved portrait of John J. Clark, original homesteader of the museum property in 1883.  1846 - 1912.  The Humphrey's purchased the land /home from Sarah Clark, John's widow.  Measures 30" x 34".  John Clark was the Mayor of Nevadaville, CO. which is now considered a ghost town.  With this you will receive letters written about him by Hazel Lou.  Gold frame with burgundy velvet matte.
