Lot # 61 -  1897 Jubilee Commemorative Tin For Queen Victoria With Single Hinge Lid. bowed sides and straight ends. The lid has a head and shoulders portrait of the young (Princess) Victoria surrounded by a gold band inscribed 'The Longest Reign in History 1837'.The curved sides have portraits of the young and old Queens, set in gilt frames and surrounded by words from the National Anthem in long ribbons and the national flowers. At the short ends stand a soldier and a jolly sailor. The tin is in overall good condition, but a little bent around the top, you need to wiggle it a bit to get the lid to close tightly. Size: 4 inches by 3.5; height 6.5 inches.  Normal wear seen on a 125 year old tin.
