Description:

Lot # 411 - Books and Photo Albums From Chicago's World Fair in 1893.  This event, also called the World's Columbian Exposition celebrating 400 years since Columbus arrived is said to have changed our country.  Modern marvels were introduced; the zipper, elevators and the Ferris wheel to name a few.  These books and pamphlets were from this event.  Includes two biographical dictionaries of notable men of the time.  See photos for more details.
