Description:

Lot # 406 - Assorted Antique Children's Books and Bedtime Stories Nathaniel Hawthorne.  There must have been a weekly newspaper column with bedtime stories, there is a book filled with them!  "A Wonder Book for Boys and Girls" by Nathaniel Hawthorne with a note inside from 1903.  See photos for other books in the lot.  There are several hundred antique books in this home, it was not possible to open and analyze each one.  Please expect wear consistent with age and normal use.  Most books have a "Humphrey" label on the inside front cover, and many have been written in.
