These unique candlestick holders have a note attached to the bottom, they were purchased in France on the northern border. They are combination of brass, pewter and copper, very pretty! Each holds a colonial man or woman candle.
Behind is a framed photo of flowers from a book. Notes written on the back explain the picture. Frame is gray painted wood, shows cracks and dents from age.
