The painting is signed lower right, dated July 2, 1973 on the reverse, and titled on the back. According to a professional appraisal, it was purchased from Cory Galleries in 1973 and has been well cared for. Executed in oil on canvas and presented in a period frame, this piece represents a documented and collectible example of Schilling’s 20th-century work. please note the appraisal on the pictures was done in 1990.
