Lot of two hand-crafted Native American style Kachina dolls, each mounted on natural wood bases and adorned with traditional materials including feathers, fur, leather, and painted details.
One example features a dynamic figure holding a spear and is inscribed on the underside “Spear Dances”, with a hand-written artist attribution (appears to read “By A. Smith,”). The second figure depicts an animal-masked dancer with fur covering, articulated arms, and polychrome geometric decoration.
Both pieces exhibit detailed craftsmanship with applied materials and painted surfaces, reflecting traditional Southwestern-inspired design.
Approx. 20” tall
Estate condition. Surface wear, minor material loss, and age-related wear present, particularly to feathers and organic elements. Bases show natural imperfections and age.
Sold as decorative Native American style items. Attribution and origin not guaranteed.
