Description:

This original 1929 100 Mils bronze coin from Palestine dates to the British Mandate era (1920–1948) and represents an important period in Middle Eastern and world history. Coins from this era circulated widely in everyday commerce and are now sought after by collectors for their historical significance and distinctive design.

The obverse features a finely detailed olive branch, a timeless regional symbol, surrounded by trilingual inscriptions in Arabic, English, and Hebrew, a hallmark of British Mandate Palestine coinage. The reverse displays the denomination “100 Mils” within an ornate wreath, along with the date 1929. The bronze composition and classic Mandate-era styling make this coin a strong addition to collections focused on Middle Eastern coins, British colonial issues, or historical world currency.

This coin offers excellent crossover appeal for collectors, educators, and history enthusiasts, and fits well into both curated collections and estate auction groupings.
