Description:

Beautiful framed lithograph titled "Coming Home" by acclaimed Southwestern artist Amado Maurilio Peña Jr., one of the most recognized and collected contemporary artists of the American Southwest.

Created in October 1983 and published through El Taller, Peña's renowned studio gallery in Austin, Texas, this work exemplifies the artist's distinctive visual language. The composition features a Native American figure carrying pottery against a minimalist desert landscape, combining elegant linework, dramatic negative space, and the cultural influences that have made Peña's work internationally recognized.

Drawing upon his Mestizo heritage of Mexican and Pascua Yaqui ancestry, Amado Peña developed a highly recognizable style that celebrates the people, traditions, and landscapes of the Southwest. His works are held in numerous public and private collections and remain highly sought after by collectors of Southwestern, Native American, and contemporary Western art.

Professionally framed and matted, this early El Taller lithograph presents beautifully and offers collectors an opportunity to acquire a desirable example from an important period in the artist's career.
