Description:

Classic 1903 Mo Mexico 20 Centavos silver coin, a beautiful example of Mexico’s famous Cap and Rays design, one of the most iconic and widely collected motifs in world coinage.

Struck at the Mexico City Mint (Mo mintmark), this coin features the Mexican national eagle devouring a snake on the obverse, a symbol that has appeared on Mexican coinage for generations. The reverse showcases the beloved Liberty Cap and radiant rays, symbolizing freedom and independence.

Coins from the late 19th and early 20th century Mexican Republic era are very popular with collectors due to their elegant design, silver content, and historical significance. This coin is housed in a collector cardboard flip labeled by a previous collector noting the 1903 date and 20 Centavos denomination.
