Description:

Historic 1909-A German Empire silver coin featuring the classic Imperial German eagle design used during the Kaiserreich (German Empire) period. This coin represents the 1 Mark denomination and was struck in .900 fine silver, making it both a collectible numismatic piece and a historic silver coin.

Coins from the German Empire era (1871–1918) are widely collected for their distinctive imperial eagle motif and connection to pre–World War I European history. The bold eagle design surrounded by a wreath is one of the most recognizable elements of German imperial coinage.

This example is preserved in a collector cardboard flip labeled by a previous collector with the date, mint mark (A – Berlin Mint), silver content, and catalog references.
