Description:

Historic 1919-D German silver coin issued during the early Weimar Republic period following World War I. This coin represents the 1 Mark denomination and features the classic German eagle reverse design, a continuation of the imperial motif used on earlier German Empire coinage.

Struck in .900 fine silver, this coin reflects the transitional period in German history as the country moved from the German Empire into the Weimar Republic era (1919–1933). Coins from this period are widely collected for both their historic significance and silver content.

The coin is stored in a collector cardboard flip with handwritten notes from a previous collector referencing the date, mint mark, and catalog information.
