The regular issue cards of Cal Ripken, Jr., George Brett, Robin Yount, Ryne Sandberg, Mike Schmidt, Pete Rose, Ozzie Smith, Tony Gwynn, Don Mattingly, and Nolan Ryan anchor the set. Rookie cards include Bret Saberhagen, Roger Clemens, Dwight Gooden, Eric Davis, Orel Hershiser, Mark McGwire, and Kirby Puckett.

**The owner of these items is a lifetime collector. A former Bat Boy for the Texas Rangers in 1975 who had access to most of the baseball greats during Spring training events. He even lockered next to Fergie Jenkins (A Ranger at the time). Having access to these players, he carried baseballs, bats, and cards with him, he always had something to sign. During the 80s & 90s he went to numerous card signing events and paid to have items signed, hundreds over the years. He remembers almost every signature! This is just a fraction of his massive collection he is allowing us to auction as he begins to downsize.
