Released exclusively to Hobby outlets --the set features players who had changed teams during the strike-shortened 1981 season in their new uniforms, along with a number of players who made their Major League debut during the 1981 season -- the most prominent being future basketball star Danny Ainge, also included are extended Rookie Cards of Tim Raines, Jeff Reardon, and Fernando Valenzuela.

**The owner of these items is a lifetime collector. A former Bat Boy for the Texas Rangers in 1975 who had access to most of the baseball greats during Spring training events. He even lockered next to Fergie Jenkins (A Ranger at the time).  Having access to these players, he carried baseballs, bats, and cards with him, he always had something to sign.  During the 80s & 90s he went to numerous card signing events and paid to have items signed, hundreds over the years.  He remembers almost every signature!  This is just a fraction of his massive collection he is allowing us to auction as he begins to downsize.
