The 1989 Upper Deck set includes a number of Hall of Famers and Rookies including Ken Griffey Jr., John Smotlz and Randy Johnson.

(Note: Wax boxes and sets were NOT sealed in shrink-wrap right out of the factory until the early 1990s. Some
distributors/dealers have shrink-wrapped boxes, after market.

**The owner of these items is a lifetime collector. A former Bat Boy for the Texas Rangers in 1975 who had access to most of the baseball greats during Spring training events. He even lockered next to Fergie Jenkins (A Ranger at the time).  Having access to these players, he carried baseballs, bats, and cards with him, he always had something to sign.  During the 80s & 90s he went to numerous card signing events and paid to have items signed, hundreds over the years.  He remembers almost every signature!  This is just a fraction of his massive collection he is allowing us to auction as he begins to downsize.
