Lot #OMI 1. 1933 Goudy Big League Gum baseball card set (Reprint) The issue consisted of 239 cards, with a 240th entry – the remarkably scarce Napoleon Lajoie #106 - produced in 1934 in response to consumer outcry and mailed to fans only upon request.
Prominent among the 1933 series' content is an abundance of Hall of Famers. Highlights include four different Babe Ruth cards. This 240-card reprint set can be had at a fraction of the cost.

**The owner of these items is a lifetime collector. A former Bat Boy for the Texas Rangers in 1975 who had access to most of the baseball greats during Spring training events. He even lockered next to Fergie Jenkins (A Ranger at the time).  Having access to these players, he carried baseballs, bats, and cards with him, he always had something to sign.  During the 80s & 90s he went to numerous card signing events and paid to have items signed, hundreds over the years.  He remembers almost every signature!  This is just a fraction of his massive collection he is allowing us to auction as he begins to downsize.
