JBE- 6. Cooperstown Bat Company Immortals Series: This commemorative bat collection was issued in the late 1990s and are similar in design to the wonderful decal bats of the early part of the 20th century. This collection includes full length bats of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner and Joe Jackson, all numbered 173/1000, and are so described on the sealed LOAs which accompany each bat.

**The owner of these items is a lifetime collector. A former Bat Boy for the Texas Rangers in 1975 who had access to most of the baseball greats during Spring training events. He even lockered next to Fergie Jenkins (A Ranger at the time).  Having access to these players, he carried baseballs, bats, and cards with him, he always had something to sign.  During the 80s & 90s he went to numerous card signing events and paid to have items signed, hundreds over the years.  He remembers almost every signature!  This is just a fraction of his massive collection he is allowing us to auction as he begins to downsize.
