Lot #DBC 10. 1988 Donruss Baseball 668 Card & Puzzle set. This Donruss set is anchored by the regular issue cards of Roger Clemens, Nolan Ryan, Cal Ripken, Jr., Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, and Greg Maddux. Key rookie cards include Roberto Alomar, Mark Grace, Ellis Burks, Ken Caminiti, David Wells, and Tom Glavine. Several cards in 600-number series were short printed by Donruss, with cards #648-660 somewhat more difficult to acquire.

**The owner of these items is a lifetime collector. A former Bat Boy for the Texas Rangers in 1975 who had access to most of the baseball greats during Spring training events. He even lockered next to Fergie Jenkins (A Ranger at the time).  Having access to these players, he carried baseballs, bats, and cards with him, he always had something to sign.  During the 80s & 90s he went to numerous card signing events and paid to have items signed, hundreds over the years.  He remembers almost every signature!  This is just a fraction of his massive collection he is allowing us to auction as he begins to downsize.
