Description:

Japanese Bronze Usubata Vase Used in the art of Ikebana flower arranging. This is a highly detailed vase most likely from the early 1900s

The Usubata features a round, bowl-like top with a central hole, for holding floral arrangements.
The base is supported by three legs, each shaped like an elephant's head.
Decorative patterns, possibly depicting birds or dragons, adorn the sides.
It is made of bronze with a patina, suggesting age.
Similar pieces are described as being from the Han Dynasty.
