Description:

Lot # 15 - 1800s Large Corbin Steamer Trunk Oak Slats, Iron Hardware Slightly Domed Lid on Wheels.  This old truck is still in great condition considering it's most likely more than 150 years!  Still has the original 4 wheels intact.  The right lock has missing pieces, the left lock has the original key attached to it for the center lock.   The key is a little bent, we do not know if the center lock works.  The inside is pretty clean.  Oak slats all around, iron hardware on every edge and corner.  Very well made!  Has the name "Hammer" stamped on one side.  D. Harry Hammer was Hazel Lou's Grandfather from Chicago.  He was a Circuit Court Judge in Chicago in the mid 1800s.  This would have been his or his Wife's, Mary Amaryllis Hammer.

 Measures 42"L x 21"W x 25" Tall.
