Description:

Lot # 138 - 19th Century Brady Photograph of Charles Stratton (AKA Tom Thumb) and His Wife Lavinia.  Rumor has it that Hazel Hammer Humphrey or her Mother met General Tom Thumb while traveling.  This lot includes one photograph of Tom and his wife done by Brady photography (gilded Frame) and signed by Tom.  The carved wood frame holds a print copy of a photo of Tom, Lavinia and their daughter.  A loose photo (?) of Tom, Lavinia and a friend is also included.  General Tom Thumb (1838 - 1883).  The loose photo is about 3" x 5".
