Antique cast iron mechanical “Organ Bank” manufactured by Kyser & Rex of Frankford, Pennsylvania, patented June 13, 1882. Features central monkey figure with coin tray, along with dog and cat figures atop the organ-themed base. When the side crank is turned, the dog and cat complete a full rotation, with bells heard.
Please note: the monkey’s hand/tray mechanism is not functioning properly—the tray rests facing downward rather than extending outward to accept a coin, and coins currently drop directly into the slot rather than activating the intended mechanical action. Internal bell functionality has not been verified. Measures approximately 5.5" W x 7.5" H. Shows age-related paint wear, patina, and surface wear consistent with age. A great display piece for cast iron bank collectors—please review all photos carefully for condition and functionality details.
