Antique primitive wooden storage chest constructed from thick hand-hewn boards with original strap hinges and cut nails. The chest features a hinged lid and deep interior storage compartment with a heavily worn natural patina from age and use. Likely used historically as a farm, tool, or grain storage chest. Maker, exact age, and original purpose are unknown as no markings were found. A great example of early rustic primitive craftsmanship and farmhouse décor.
