Description:

Vintage pair of traditional kitchen preparation tools including a wooden cabbage shredder (mandoline-style slicer) and a hand-carved wooden dough roller. These utilitarian pieces reflect early to mid-20th century home food preparation, commonly used in farmhouse kitchens for shredding cabbage for sauerkraut and rolling pastry or dough.

The cabbage shredder features a wooden board body with an angled metal blade and hanging hole at the top, while the rolling tool features a cylindrical wooden body carved with a honeycomb-style texture and wooden handles. Tools such as these were widely used before modern electric kitchen appliances and remain popular among collectors of rustic kitchenware and farmhouse décor.

Key details:

• Maker / Brand: Unmarked
• Material: Wood with metal blade (shredder)
• Style / Theme: Rustic farmhouse kitchen tools
• Components Included: 2 pieces – cabbage shredder board and textured dough roller
• Notable Features: Hand-carved honeycomb pattern roller, angled steel slicing blade, hanging hole for storage

Condition:

Both items show typical age and use consistent with vintage kitchen tools. The shredder board shows wear, patina, and discoloration around the blade area, with visible aging to the wood and metal. The roller shows surface wear and patina from use but remains structurally solid.

A charming pair of antique-style kitchen implements ideal for collectors of farmhouse tools, rustic décor, or traditional food preparation implements.
