Vintage wooden hand screw clamp used by cabinetmakers and woodworkers for holding pieces during glue-ups and precision work. This style of clamp features two hardwood jaws and a large wooden threaded screw allowing the jaws to be adjusted and tightened securely.
The clamp shows a warm aged patina from years of shop use. The top jaw has carved initials "H & H," likely from a previous craftsman owner.
These classic clamps were commonly used in early furniture shops and are still valued by woodworkers today because the wooden jaws will not mar delicate materials.
Features:
• Solid hardwood construction
• Large wooden threaded screw
• Adjustable parallel jaws
• Hand-carved initials on top jaw
Approximate length: about 20 inches.
Condition:
Shows wear consistent with age and use but remains a solid decorative and functional vintage woodworking tool.
Great for collectors of antique tools, woodworking shops, or rustic décor displays.
