Description:

Lot # 54 - Adolph Hitler "Mein Kampf” Original 1939 edition in English known as the Murphy Translation published by Hutchinson & Co. in association with Hurst & Blackett Ltd. London.  On the first page is a newspaper cutting from the Daily Herald 1924 relating to the prison sentences handed down to Ludendorff and Hitler for their actions in the attempted Munich putsch 1923.

Hutchinson Illustrated, Unabridged version of Hitler’s Mein Kampf. Undated, but published in 1939, this is the James Murphy translation, with the translator’s introduction. 580 pages, profusely illustrated with over 200 black and white illustrations.  Spine, Front and back covers unmarked.  Bound in brown leather with stitching seen and metal pieces on the top and bottom of the spine, wire threading weaved into the metal rails.

This book shows its age but is holding together with the metal binding.  See photos for condition details. Writing seen on the first page, could not decipher.
